Living Coral: the internet, animated

The future is nothing without the past and the present. The internet typifies a kind of all-at-onceness - a constantly refreshing stream of content and consciousness. Instant and endless gratification is underscored by immense boredom. Here exists an odd breed of democracy where trash and pop culture stand alongside history, fact, fiction and sex. Using Pantone’s 2019 Color of the Year ‘Living Coral’ as a base cultural signifier, this piece attempts to capture a sense of the perpetual now.
